From a small vision in West Palm Beach in 1986 to monthly brigades across the Dominican Republic, every chapter of our story is written by people who chose to serve.
It all started in 1986, when Jack Clarkson founded World Servants in West Palm Beach, Florida, with the purpose of mobilizing Christian service teams to communities in need across Latin America and the Caribbean.
That same year, a partner visited the community of Guaricanos in the Dominican Republic and founded World Servants Holland, giving birth to an international network united by the same vision, logo, and purpose: to serve with love and build hope.

Six milestones, pivots, and chapters of growth all rooted in the same conviction: to love is to serve.
Jack Clarkson founds World Servants in West Palm Beach, Florida, mobilizing Christian service teams across Latin America and the Caribbean. Our first roots in the DR begin through Youth for Christ and Project Server.
Daniel Isaías becomes local coordinator. Teams of 200+ build up to five churches simultaneously in just two weeks, transforming communities across the country.
At only 24, Daniel officially becomes national director. After years of process, the organization is legally incorporated with its Spanish name — Servidores Mundiales — officially adopted.
After evaluating real community impact, we commit to accompanying communities for 5–10 years rather than short-term interventions — ensuring sustainability, local empowerment, and lasting change.
Monthly medical and dental brigades, full home builds, annual mission teams from many countries, all rooted in the same conviction that began in 1986: to love is to serve.
Our legacy today
From once-a-year brigades to monthly services — hundreds of patients in rural mountains receive care they couldn't otherwise access.
We moved from partial repairs to building homes from the ground up — safer, more durable, and built with the hands of mission teams from around the world.
Groups from many countries continue to arrive every year, serving alongside our local team and leaving with lives forever changed.
The story of Servidores Mundiales is still being written. Join a mission trip, give, or pray, every act of service matters.
